Always store tests between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius, if you believe tests have passed beyond there perimeters please discontinue use.
Self administered rapid tests are usually less effective during later stages of infection and individuals who are asymptomatic.

Do not re-use a test or use a test after the expiry date printed on the sachet. Avoid eating, drinking or smoking immediately before or during the test. Do not collect the nasal swab sample if you have a nosebleed.
Do not use the test if the pouch is damaged or not at room temperature. Wear gloves or alternately wash hands before and thoroughly after use. If performing a lateral flow type test and the extraction buffer accidentally comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse it off with large amounts of water and consult a doctor if necessary.
Do not freeze test kit. It is important to appropriately dispose of tests, samples and any contaminated materials once results are recorded.
